Responsibilities Develop and own the enterprise security architecture framework spanning network security, cloud security, identity controls, and segmentation strategy. Define end-to-end design standards for firewalls, secure access, digital perimeter controls, and interconnect security across global environments. Architect resilient security models for multi-region, multi-tenant, and hybrid application landscapes including secure workload mobility and inter-cloud routing. Establish security baselines and architectural guardrails for infrastructure, platforms, and data pathways. Construct secure connectivity models for cloud adoption across Azure, AWS, and private cloud ecosystems, ensuring architectural consistency at scale. Lead the design of secure cloud landing zones, cloud edge security, and multi-cloud traffic governance frameworks. Integrate cloud-native controls with on-premise security stacks through cohesive policies, automation, and telemetry pipelines. Define architectural governance processes to ensure infrastructure teams adhere to approved security patterns. Conduct high-rigor assessments of existing network and security landscapes, exposing architectural weaknesses and designing remediation paths. Direct compliance alignment with global standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, Zero Trust), converting frameworks into practical engineering guidance. Lead enterprise transformation initiatives related to SDN, SD-WAN, cloud migration, and data center modernization. Oversee the evolution of legacy security estates into automated, policy-driven architectures. Provide architectural direction during incident response, designing long-term fixes and eliminating systemic failure points. Champion infrastructure-as-code principles for security controls and network automation. Define automated approaches for policy validation, configuration assurance, and continuous security posture monitoring. Interface with engineering teams to convert architectural patterns into repeatable and automated workflows. Mentor senior engineers in architectural thinking, design principles, and cross-domain system understanding. Produce high-fidelity technical artifacts including security roadmaps, current-state assessments, and architectural blueprints. Requirements Minimum 18-20 years of deep specialization in infrastructure security architecture, including network architecture Mastery of enterprise-grade firewall ecosystems and security enforcement layers across at least three major vendors. Substantial experience designing secure overlays, encrypted traffic paths, and high-resilience architectures for global organizations. Demonstrated expertise in hybrid/edge-cloud security, including the architectural integration of cloud workloads, secure gateways, and interconnect fabrics. Proven track record guiding large-scale programs involving SDN, SD-WAN, or cloud network security modernization. Ability to architect complex routing, segmentation, and access control models with consideration for scalability, failover behavior, regulatory constraints, and automation readiness. Strong familiarity with creating enterprise security reference architectures and translating them into actionable engineering standards.
