Responsibilities Research, design, develop, and update software; enhance existing capabilities. Implement and test components based on functional specifications. Prepare technical specifications from functional requirements and architecture. Collaborate with engineers to integrate hardware/software systems. Liaise with business analysts on requirements and contribute to technical design. Analyze user needs and develop solutions; provide technical support for escalated issues. Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, peer reviews, and integration documents. Maintain high delivery standards and propose solutions based on best practices. Perform Level 3 production support, analyzing and resolving issues promptly. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 6 years of experience in Cobol and Pro*C. Technical skills:Micro Focus COBOL, C, Pro*C, Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle, GitLab Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD, MQ and CFT integration Functional: Banking knowledge is a plus. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Proactive, autonomous, and problem-solving mindset. Experience in LEAN environments; effective team collaboration. Proficient in Microsoft Office; open to learning new technologies.
