Key Role: Clinical Psychologist
Job Description:
The Clinical Psychologist plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical assessment and psychological interventions to enhance the mental health of children and adolescents within school settings.
They formulate and develop comprehensive care management plans for referred students in collaboration with community partners, while also supporting Allied Educators in schools to manage students with mental health conditions.
This role involves developing a mental health network for children and adolescents in the community, promoting holistic support and intervention.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Educational Psychology from a recognized university
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently in a multidisciplinary team, as well as with professionals from other organizations
- Proficiency in communication skills (spoken and written); proficiency in a second language (spoken) is preferred
- Well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills
- Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments (preferred)
- Eligible for valid registration, license, or practicing certificate with an established or recognized psychological professional body such as SRP, APA, APS, or BPS
