For more information, please visit Job Description MINDS is undertaking a multi-year project to relocate its Special Education Schools and Special Student Care Centres to cater to increasing enrolments for students with special needs. This position serves as a business partner to lead the day-to-day coordination and execution of school relocation and redevelopment activities for two schools under Project "Gardens Rebuilding, Redevelopment and Occupation Works" (GROW), ensuring the successful delivery of project outcomes with minimal disruption to education services. Key Functions And Tasks Project Management: Coordinate school project development strategies and plans, aligning to long-term infrastructural plans to cater to student enrolment, project and operational excellence. Establish strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project development activities; solicit requisite approvals and permits with Schools, MOE, MSF and contractors. Lead project specification, estimation and planning activities and ensure project risk management. Ensure adequate technical feasibility reviews and engineering studies. Review submitted final design submittals including basis of design, technical specifications, plans layouts, schematics and detail design with feedback from schools. Lead the organisation\'s safe and sustainable design initiatives and drive compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements. Work with contractors and government authorities to ensure compliance with regulations including health and safety standards. Monitor project progress and timeline; work with stakeholders for prompt resolution. Manage contractors for prompt resolution of issues. Co-inspection of work after completion of work. Coordinate with Schools on relocation to minimise disruption to normal operation. Qualifications & Skills Degree in civil or structural engineering or relevant qualification. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in project management, coordinating site refurbishment, fund accounting and/or social service sector is advantageous. Good project management and communication skills. Analytical, teamwork-oriented and collaborative problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills. Other Information Budget and resource: Ensure proper tracking of budget and compliance with budget spending. Asset tracking during handover and transition of capitalised accounting records and funded assets. Administration and Reporting: Prepare reports for funders and government authorities; track progress for management. Coordination for signing of agreements and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Knowledge management and filing, including drawings and building plans; facilitate audits. Prepare requirement specifications for procurement. Other duties as necessary.
