About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 4 Delivery Driver to join our team at Tong Garden Food (S) Pte Ltd. As a full-time driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across Singapore. This is a crucial role that supports our company's operations and contributes to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate a Class 4 vehicle to deliver goods to customers within scheduled timeframes
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery van
  • Liaise with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and company policies
  • Provide timely updates on delivery status and any issues encountered

What we're looking for

  • Valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food or logistics industry
  • Strong navigational skills and knowledge of Singapore roads
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, punctual and well-organised
