What the role is:
We are seeking a proactive and inquisitive Manager/Senior Manager to support our Strategy team in the following areas:
What you will be working on:
- Conduct literature reviews on key topics of interest to WSG.- Assist in implementing WSG's research agenda and operations, including those related to the Alliance for Action for Career and Employment Services (AfA-ACES).- Support engagements of research performers and the implementation of common research workshops with our partners.- Coordinate and update on the progress of research efforts.- Assist the team in securing and managing funding for WSG's research work.- Support the team in secretariat and staffing work.
What we are looking for:
Requirements:
Prior experience in a public sector strategy or research function is preferred but not required.
Good writing and critical thinking skills; comfortable with drafting reports, slides, and submissions.
Strong project management skills.
Proficient in PowerPoint and comfortable giving presentations.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
