Immediate - Associate Engineer (Mechanical / Toa Payoh)Responsibilities Assist engineers in principle investigation, troubleshooting – taking ownership to deliver on assignment Support demonstration of new ideas / principles Setting up of test / instrumentation / equipment, as well as performing/monitoring of the test, according to safe working practice, guideline & work instructions Provide preliminary data analysis based on the test objectives and results Ensure safe and tidy work conditions (practice 6S housekeeping)Maintain test equipment, jigs/fixtures etc. in calibrated/good working condition. Management/Replenishment of Lab consumables Product defect investigation and troubleshooting Other ad-hoc assignments Requirements Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Working with Microsoft Excel (data analysis, generating of graphs, charts etc.)Experience on use of common precision measurement tools and instruments (e.g., Vernier Calliper, Micro-meter, Height Gauge, Pulling force gauge, frequency converter, Optical Measuring Machines, thermocouple, thermal imager, pulse controller, data logger)Ability to build things physically. Fast learner: ability to quickly understand test objectives/requirements, as well as exercise creativity in devising and improving testing methods.
