Product and Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our high-precision manufacturing team as a Product and Process Engineer.

This role will be heavily involved in rubber molding operations, new product introduction, and process improvement initiatives to ensure production efficiency and quality.

  • Oversight of new product launches and pilot runs, ensuring a seamless transition to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for streamlined product development and deployment.
  • Leadership of process validation, testing, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and 'what-if' analysis for new product introductions.
  • Design and refinement of products for manufacturability, performance, and compliance.
  • Development and maintenance of production process documentation, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.

Key Requirements:

New Product Development/Introduction (NPD/NPI), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and FMEA (Design & Process) knowledge.

Process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.

ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS familiarity and experience.
