Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, integrate, and commission Satellite Communication (SATCOM) and Network Systems
  • Interpret contractual and project requirements to propose and develop SATCOM system architectures and designs
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis and verification to validate system designs and implementations
  • Lead design review presentations and discussions with customers
  • Execute proof-of-concept trials and support overseas demonstrations and testing
  • Manage SATCOM system and network configurations, including acceptance, interface, performance testing, and commissioning
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and reporting
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in the SATCOM domain

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder with at least 6 years of relevant experience in SATCOM or a related field
  • Proven experience in large-scale project implementation and delivery
  • Familiarity with iDirect or other modem brands is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with SATCOM terminals and RF equipment
  • Competent in performing link budget analysis
  • Skilled in using test tools and equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and Network Testers
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving aptitude
  • Proactive, dynamic, and equipped with excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
