Title : OpenText ECM Consultant Job Function: ECM Consultant Minimum Years of Experience: 3–5 years OpenText ECM Consultant This role focuses on the functional and technical implementation of OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions to optimize document management, workflow automation, and digital transformation for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in implementation projects for OpenText ECM platforms, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, deployment, and post-go-live support. Translate business requirements into concrete ECM solutions, leveraging OpenText Content Server, Document Management, Workflow, and integration modules. Collaborate with end users, IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver functional design documentation, system configuration, and user training. Configure, customize, and optimize workflows, document classifications, metadata, retention policies, and access controls. Support integration of OpenText ECM with legacy ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools. Ensure project deliverables meet requirements on scope, timelines, quality, and regulatory compliance. Provide user and administrator training, troubleshooting support, and guidance for ECM best practices. Monitor system performance, assist in upgrades, and recommend improvements for scalability and user experience. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–5 years’ hands‐on experience in ECM consulting, with focus on OpenText platforms (Content Server, xECM, etc.). Proven track record in successful end‐to‐end ECM implementation projects, including configuration, integration, and data migration. Technical proficiency in workflow design, metadata management, and document lifecycle automation. Working knowledge of data governance, compliance standards, and information security. Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills for user training, documentation, and cross‐functional project delivery.
