About the Role We are seeking an experienced and hands‐on F&B Kitchen Consultant to support the launch and operations of our latest dining concept located at Dempsey Hill. This role is ideal for a seasoned culinary professional who is not only adept at kitchen planning and operational setup but also willing to work on the ground—supporting daily kitchen shifts, leading the team, and cooking as required. This role will work closely with the operations manager. Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations & Setup Oversee and refine all kitchen workflows, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with concept standards. Develop and implement kitchen SOPs, including food preparation, cooking procedures, hygiene protocols, and equipment usage. Provide recommendations for kitchen layout optimisation, equipment needs, and inventory systems. Menu Development & Execution Collaborate with the culinary team and management on finalising menu items and ensuring consistency in execution. Standardise recipes, portion controls, and plating guides. Conduct tastings, training sessions, and performance assessments of the kitchen team. Hands‐On Kitchen Support Participate fully in daily kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, plating, and cleaning. Take scheduled shifts as needed to support service periods, especially during peak hours. Lead by example to maintain high culinary and hygiene standards. Training & Team Development Mentor and upskill kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations after contract completion. Provide on‐the‐job coaching on culinary techniques, time management, and service coordination. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure compliance with Singapore food safety regulations and internal standards. Monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation to maintain brand expectations. Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Culinary Consultant, or similar leadership role in F&B. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations in a fast‐paced, high‐quality dining environment. Comfortable working hands‐on, including cooking on the line and covering shifts. Ability to train, motivate, and guide a culinary team. Strong organisational and communication skills. Familiarity with Singapore's SFA food safety regulations and requirements.
