Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Research Associate.

The selected candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of novel methods for long-term monitoring and understanding how environmental factors influence mobility and health.

This position involves:

Data Analysis and Algorithm Development:

  • Collaborate with research personnel on evaluating and analyzing functional assessment data.
  • Develop new machine learning and algorithmic pipelines to extract features from wearable sensors, GPS, and other data sources.
  • Refine processing pipelines for naturalistic, real-world settings.
  • Analyze data and contribute to visualizations to explore, validate, and interpret results.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of data collection protocols, processing steps, and algorithm versions.
  • Prepare regular progress reports on data collection, processing, and pipeline development, supported by clear visualizations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Assist in field data collection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
  • Strong foundation in signal processing and machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
