Job Description Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and reputation. The Synthetic Risk Middle Office supports front‐to‐back post‐execution for all equity‐based derivative activity in Asia, focusing on risk, trading surveillance, new issuances, client service, corporate actions processing and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational process lifecycle by interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, trading desks, brokers, Sales, Structuring and other teams to enable business and risk mitigation. Partner with product experts to review all operational aspects of the trade flow, building technical knowledge, risk control and commercial awareness. Identify efficiency opportunities in process flow methodology and propose scalable enhancements. Leverage quantitative skills to decompose complex regulatory and operational requirements and propose creative, robust solutions. Oversee and own the full front‐to‐back operational flow, ensuring seamless execution of trades, new business and flow enhancements. Qualifications Strong understanding of a range of Equity Derivative products and Cash Securities. Excellent team‐working skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders locally and globally. Track record in developing client relationships and key stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive under pressure. Strong leadership skills; self‐starter who manages competing deadlines and prioritises effectively.
