Senior Assistant Director, Civil & Structure
Overall Job Purpose:
Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
Responsible for design management, project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.
Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.
Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
Conduct regular site visits/inspections and report on quality and progress.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering would be an advantage.
Experience in Project Management for large-scale engineering infrastructure projects and managing contracts with a value of at least S$200 million.
Experience in Design and/or Design Management in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
Project Management experience in deep underground infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
