Job Description & Requirements

We are hiring a Facilities Engineer/Senior Engineer (Mechanical) for our client wafer fabrication operations responsible for managing and optimizing various mechanical systems. The successful candidate will ensure the continuous supply and performance of Clean Room, Chillers, HVAC, Environmental Protection, Process Utilities Supply, and Building Services.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Support:

  • Ensure the continuous operation and optimal performance of key mechanical systems supporting wafer fabrication.
  • Oversee Clean Room, Chillers, HVAC, Environmental Protection Systems, Process Utilities Supply Systems, and Building Services.

Maintenance Management:

  • Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Perform timely repairs and troubleshooting to maintain system functionality.

System Performance:

  • Establish and monitor performance tracking systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Procedure Optimization:

  • Formulate and improve operating procedures for efficient system management.

Utility Consumption:

  • Monitor utility usage and implement reduction projects.
  • Collaborate with users to enhance efficiency.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to relevant standards, legislation, and codes of practice.

Training and Documentation:

  • Train colleagues on system operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems and processes.

Resource Management:

  • Recommend and manage necessary spares and consumables.
  • Supervise and execute facilities-related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Building, or a related field with at least 5 years in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical system operation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in managing cleanroom (Class 100 environment) and ACMV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and engineering practices.
  • Ability to manage building services, including repairs, upgrades, and housekeeping.
