Roles & Responsibilities About the role McConnell Dowell is looking to hire an Architectural Manager for one of our major civil infrastructure projects in Singapore. Key Responsibilities Lead the architectural function on the project, managing a team of coordinators and interfacing closely with Architects, Structural and M&E Engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. Drive architectural design coordination to fulfil all contract requirements, chairing IDMs/coordination meetings and resolving technical and construction issues promptly to keep works on program. Plan, monitor, and report on the architectural program; manage design submissions, shop drawings, material selection/approvals, and mock‑ups through to final acceptance. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and statutory requirements; embed risk‑reduction controls for all design activities. Oversee cost/time impacts related to architectural changes, supporting value engineering and constructability reviews in collaboration with project leadership. Uphold and enforce the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan across architectural deliverables. Perform any other duties as may be required by the Company. About You To be considered for this role, you will have; A degree in Architecture or a related engineering discipline, with 8–12+ years of architectural coordination/management experience, ideally on major civil infrastructure or transport projects. Proven leadership in multi‑disciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structural, M&E) and stakeholder management with consultants and subcontractors. Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of resolving site and design issues to maintain progress and quality. Familiarity with local codes/standards and rigorous design/document control practices. Willingness to work an alternate 6‑day work week.
