Overview Logistics Warehousing Operations Supervisor We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics and Inventory Operations Supervisor to oversee the delivery of inbound containers to our local distribution center. This position will be responsible for coordinating freight, managing inventory systems, ensuring product quality standards, and handling temporary operational requests in support of business continuity. Responsibilities Container and delivery coordination: Manage and arrange the transportation of inbound containers from the port to the local distribution center. Liaise with transportation providers, customs agents, and warehousing partners to ensure timely and compliant delivery. Track the movement of containers and address any delays or discrepancies. Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records using an ERP or warehouse management system. Regularly conduct cycle counting and inventory reconciliation. Monitor inventory turnover rate and suggest reordering strategies to minimize stockouts. Quality control: Inspect the quantity and quality assurance of incoming goods. Implement quality control protocols and collaborate with suppliers to address product defects. Ensure that storage conditions and handling practices comply with company and regulatory standards. Temporary operational support: Address urgent operational issues, such as last-minute delivery reroutes, supplier coordination, or system malfunctions. Assist in logistics planning for special projects, events, or peak seasons. Generate reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making. Working hours: 6-day work week with one rest day per week, include night shifts. Qualifications Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields, with familiarity in ISO standards or HACCP practices (especially in the food service or regulated goods sector). Over 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, inventory control, or warehouse operations. Strong understanding of container scheduling, import procedures, and shipping documents. Practical experience with inventory systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Excellent problem-solving skills and operational agility. Excellent communication skills, able to work across departments and collaborate with external suppliers. Ability to communicate in Chinese.
