As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Provides imaging services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations and according to acceptable standards.
Ensures familiarization with and correct handling of imaging equipment to avoid incorrect usage.
Understands and performs quality control activities to ensure that radiology medical equipment is functioning according to specifications.
Works closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
Provides quality customer service to patients.
Ensures compliance with radiology safety policy.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging Science.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
