As a Senior Data Analyst, you will focus on data analytics for centralized exchanges (CEX) and the broader Web3 ecosystem, covering trading, user behavior, on-chain data, market trends, and risk monitoring. You will be responsible for building high-value data models, driving data-driven business decisions, and working closely with product, operations, risk, and marketing teams to support business growth and ecosystem development.
Key Responsibilities
Exchange Core Data Analysis
Analyze market microstructure data such as trading pairs, volumes, depth, spreads, and market-making activities
Monitor trading activity, liquidity changes, and abnormal trading behaviors
User Behavior & Growth Analysis
Analyze user lifecycle metrics, including registration, activity, retention, and conversion
Evaluate user acquisition and retention effectiveness across channels and campaigns (ROI analysis)
Web3 & On-Chain Data Analysis
Use on-chain analytics tools (Nansen, Dune Analytics, Glassnode, etc.) to track fund flows, wallet behavior, and smart contract interactions
Monitor large fund movements, whale activities, and cross-chain bridge usage
Data Modeling & Forecasting
Build predictive models based on trading and user data (e.g., trading volume forecasts, churn prediction)
Apply machine learning algorithms for market and user behavior pattern recognition
Visualization & Data Productization
Develop real-time dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
Translate analytical results into metrics systems and monitoring tools for product and business use
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data-Driven Decisions
Collaborate with operations, marketing, product, risk, and finance teams, providing insights to support strategic and operational optimization
Participate in data-driven growth experiments and A/B testing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or related fields
5+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in CEX, fintech, or Web3
Proficient in SQL, Python, or R; familiar with blockchain APIs and on-chain data structures
Skilled with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Dune Analytics
Experienced in market microstructure analysis, wallet tracing, and behavioral modeling
Fluent in English and Mandarin, capable of producing professional reports in both languages
