In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power our applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams — including front‐end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers — to deliver high‐quality, performant, and secure software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs . Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability. Ensure high standards of performance, quality, and responsiveness . Implement security, data protection , and compliance best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews, documentation , and team knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go . Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures . Solid understanding of database systems — relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB). Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines . Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Strong problem‐solving abilities , attention to detail, and a passion for quality code. Preferred Qualifications Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with GraphQL , gRPC , or WebSockets . Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). Experience with unit testing and test‐driven development (TDD) .
