This role is responsible for performing Engineering tasks relating to vehicle Customisation and Maintenance. This role covers Engineering effort that spans the product life cycle from design to production to maintenance and obsolescence management.
Job Description
Design Engineering
includes the following:
Structure design and calculations
Installation and integration of equipment
Safety Engineering
Prototyping
Production/Manufacturing Engineering
includes the following:
Converting Developmental Design or prototype into Production Design
Design of the production processes and work instructions
Development of Production BOM
Maintenance Engineering
including the following:
Develop the Product Maintenance requirement and work processes
Obsolescence management
Preservation Engineering
Failure analysis and diagnostics
New Product Concepts and proposals
Lead or participate in Tenders as assigned
Any other task(s) assigned by the company
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or an automotive related field
3+ years of experience in automotive or related industries
Able to perform design/drafting software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and ability to translate customer's needs into product
Analytical mindset with experience improving Engineering processes
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
