Base pay range SGD54,000.00/yr - SGD54,000.00/yr Compensation Salary: S$4,500 per month Role Summary Role Summary: The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia-Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams. Responsibilities You will be based in our Medical Communications team as a Medical Writer, specialising in the strategic planning and development of scientific publications. Your work will involve the detailed analysis and clear, creative communication of clinical trial data through abstracts, posters, oral presentations and manuscripts for submission to scientific journals and conferences. You will support a range of clients, including the industry's most successful pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health bodies and charitable organisations Collaborate with project teams across Singapore, UK and US offices, including training in project management and effective client communication Start Date and Location Start Date: We are currently recruiting for start dates for Q4 2025 and beyond. Location: Singapore office with hybrid working options available. About Costello Medical Costello Medical is a rapidly growing global healthcare agency specialising in medical communications, market access and health economic and outcomes research. Our Singapore office is structured around three teams: Medical Communications, Evidence Development and Market Access. This vacancy is specifically within our Medical Communications team, with the possibility of contributing to cross-divisional projects. Medical Communications: description of responsibilities and collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality writing that is scientifically rigorous and patient-focused and in line with strategic positions. Market Access: description of activities involved in demonstrating value of therapies, evidence generation and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Evidence Development: description of literature reviews, synthesis and real-world evidence projects. Qualifications A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum CAP or GPA 4/5 or equivalent). We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to biology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine An excellent written and spoken fluency in English to deliver high quality scientific materials in English for clients in the Asia-Pacific region An ability to communicate scientific materials clearly in both written and oral form An excellent understanding of and ability to apply scientific concepts A close attention to detail An aptitude for and experience of scientific writing which could include dissertations, research summaries, lab reports, poster or oral presentations, peer-reviewed scientific publications, book chapters, grant applications, regulatory documents, and articles for websites or student magazines A competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint An exceptional level of organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage your time and meet deadlines No previous experience in this sector is necessary, but you should display a genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn about new areas of clinical science. Applicants with higher-level qualifications in a scientific discipline are welcomed but this is not a requirement Benefits A starting salary of S$4,500 per month.
