Responsibilities: Drive the development and manufacturing of high-speed connectors, focusing on design feasibility by collaborating closely with manufacturing teams to evaluate plant capabilities and new product concepts. Perform advanced analytical activities such as Proof of Concept (POC), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Tolerance Analysis to validate the structural and functional integrity of connector designs. Develop alternative technical solutions to address design gaps and ensure alignment with target performance specifications. Lead critical testing phases, including First Off Tooling (FOT), Full System Validation (FSV), and Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R), ensuring robust product qualification. Provide technical support for in-production products or newly launched connectors, troubleshooting complex customer quality issues to maintain product reliability. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to drive cost optimization initiatives and yield improvements through detailed engineering analysis and solution implementation. Lead efforts in product modifications, series expansions, and customization to meet evolving market demands and expand market share. Execute any other technically focused tasks as assigned by management. Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in product design, specifically in the development of connectors for high-speed data transmission applications. Strong mechanical design background, with at least 3 years of experience in designing electronic products. Expertise in product development methodologies, including DFMEA, Tolerance Analysis, and advanced FEA simulations. In-depth understanding of material properties and their impact on high-speed signal integrity and mechanical performance. Proven track record in translating theoretical designs into manufacturable products with a focus on minimizing variances and optimizing for performance. Ability to engage in complex problem-solving, offering technical leadership across cross-functional teams and external clients. Self-driven, with the ability to independently drive projects while ensuring technical alignment with corporate goals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
