Assistant Manager / Manager (Graduate Programme) (3-year contract), SOA – Singapore Management University Join to apply for the Assistant Manager / Manager (Graduate Programme) (3-year contract), SOA role at Singapore Management University. Responsibilities Academic Matters: Overall administrative management of the Programme. Maintain repository of course outlines, materials, and student portal. Manage course registration, class scheduling, and course evaluation. Provide classroom support when necessary (weekday evenings and Saturdays). Support faculty members on academic matters. Guide students throughout the dissertation process. Manage student awards and graduation. Liaise with partner universities on academic matters. Recruitment & Admissions: Collaborate with Programme Directors, Office of Post Graduate Research, and partner universities to develop and implement marketing and recruitment efforts. Coordinate recruitment logistics, including scheduling interviews and overseas partner university events. Students and Alumni Management: Ensure students have meaningful learning experiences. Build and maintain positive relationships with students and alumni. Maintain student/alumni databases. Organise events, including registration, vendor coordination, and participant communications. Accreditation & Academic Review: Provide support for the School's accreditation review. Offer administrative support for all academic reviews. External Relations: Build strong relationships with external stakeholders such as industry partners and partner universities. Enhance outreach and communication through all channels, including programme website and digital newsletters. Budgeting and Financial Reporting: Responsible for the budgeting and financial reporting of the Programme. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Recognised university degree. Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an educational and/or public service setting. Prior experience in an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) setting is advantageous. Bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin (proficiency in Mandarin preferred). Good interpersonal skills to work with a broad range of stakeholders. Meticulous, hardworking, strong team player. Able to work under stress and possess good organisational and time‐management skills. Other Information Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
