Job Description: We are looking for a infrastructure Engineer to support an Offshore Maintenance & Inspection (M&I) Project by designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable and secure cloud-based infrastructure and digital systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of data management, inspection systems, and maintenance applications operating across offshore environments.The role requires deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to implement automation, remote data processing, and monitoring solutions that enhance offshore operations, maintenance reporting, and inspection workflows. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate closely with project engineers, inspection teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant cloud solutions.Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain cloud infrastructure to support offshore inspection and maintenance applications, including asset tracking, predictive maintenance, and data analytics platforms. Build and manage secure data pipelines and cloud databases for collecting and processing inspection data from offshore facilities. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration of cloud systems. Manage hybrid network connectivity between onshore and offshore data systems using VPNs, VPCs, and secure APIs. Deploy and monitor real-time cloud-based dashboards for inspection data visualization, alerts, and reporting. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for mission-critical inspection and maintenance applications. Integrate cloud solutions with IoT sensors and edge computing devices located on offshore platforms. Manage cloud monitoring and alerting systems to track offshore system uptime, performance, and compliance. Oversee data security, encryption, and compliance with MOM, ISO, and Network Security standards for offshore operations. Support software teams in deploying inspection and maintenance software in serverless and containerized environments (Cloud Run, AWS ECS, Lambda). Conduct cost analysis and resource optimization for cloud usage across offshore projects. Create cloud architecture diagrams and technical documentation aligned with project requirements. Collaborate with offshore project managers, engineers, and IT teams to align cloud infrastructure with operational goals. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in industrial technology, major in Computer Technology or related IT/Engineering field. Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Ability to design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud environments with scalable infrastructure, secure architecture, and optimized cost management. Expertise in cloud-native services such as Compute Engine, EC2, S3, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Strong understanding of hybrid cloud integrations and cloud migration strategies. Strong practical experience using Terraform and Ansible to automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment. Skilled in configuring VPCs, VPNs, Cloud Routers, Load Balancers, Cloud NAT, and CDN services. Proficiency in DNS management (Route 53) and secure connectivity between onshore and offshore systems. Experience managing databases and storage solutions such as Cloud SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, S3, Cloud Storage, and Firebase. Understanding of data replication, high availability, and backup strategies. Knowledge of data lifecycle management and disaster recovery planning. Hands-on expertise with Cloud Monitoring, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Zabbix, and ELK Stack. Strong understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) and role-based access control. Familiarity with SSL/TLS encryption, SIEM integration, Cloud Armor, and policy enforcement frameworks. Knowledge of ISO/IEC compliance, data protection, and MOM Network Security requirements for offshore operations. Experience with MQTT cluster management, edge data synchronization, and device connectivity for offshore environments. Understanding of real-time data acquisition systems used in maintenance and inspection workflows. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (GKE, ECS) for container orchestration. Experience deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Cloud Run. Capable of managing scalable microservices and optimizing resource utilization in containerized environments Strong scripting skills in Bash, YAML, and Python to automate deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks. Ability to develop scripts for automated log analysis, data ingestion, and configuration management. Deep familiarity with Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server administration. Ability to perform system-level optimization, patching, and security hardening.
