Payroll Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves managing the full cycle of payroll activities and supporting business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing by preparing and verifying employee attendance and leave records.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to HR policies and procedures, and address basic HR queries.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee files, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Processing: Manage payroll process for the company, calculation of salary details, government claims.
  • Employee Correspondence: Manage employee letters and reference letters.
  • Work Pass Renewal: Manage work pass renewal processes.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in processing end-to-end payroll operations.
  • Strong knowledge in employment laws and regulations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • A responsible individual who can work independently in a small office setting.
  • Organization skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and keep records well-organized.
  • Confidentiality and handling sensitive information discreetly.
  • Initiative – Proactive attitude towards taking on responsibilities and improving processes without being prompted.
