Overview Solution Architect - C2 Solutions for Site Protection and Physical Security. Role focused on architecting and overseeing the implementation and integration of advanced Command and Control (C2) systems to enable real-time monitoring, decision-making, and coordination of physical security operations across multiple sites and infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Design and Architect C2 Systems for Security Operations: Architect and design C2 systems to manage site protection, surveillance, and emergency response; develop end-to-end solutions integrating physical security technologies (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) with centralized C2 platforms for real-time monitoring and operational coordination; ensure situational awareness, threat identification, incident reporting, and resource management across multiple security operations. System Integration: Lead integration of C2 solutions with physical security systems (surveillance, access control, alarm systems, emergency communication); design solutions enabling interoperability between C2 systems, IoT devices, and security monitoring platforms; oversee integration with broader enterprise systems (IT, facilities management, and other operational systems). Command Center Development and Optimization: Design and optimize Security Operations Centers (SOC) or Command Centers; ensure C2 platforms support visualization tools (dashboards, maps, alerts) for intuitive monitoring; integrate AI/ML and predictive analytics to enhance decision-making. Real-Time Data Management and Communication: Enable real-time data collection, processing, and dissemination across security systems; develop quick alert and incident reporting communications between security teams, emergency services, and leadership; ensure full visibility of ongoing incidents and site conditions. Emergency Response and Incident Management: Design C2 solutions that support emergency protocols (rapid resource deployment, lockdowns) and coordination with external emergency services; integrate incident response workflows and automated triggers to expedite responses. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure C2 systems comply with regulatory/industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NFPA, GDPR, physical security regulations); collaborate with compliance officers on data privacy, video surveillance, and incident reporting requirements. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with C2, physical security, and smart city trends; enhance resilience, scalability, and performance; conduct regular system reviews, audits, and updates. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work with site security managers, IT, facilities management, and external contractors; provide leadership in security architecture discussions and guide deployment, integration, and operation of C2 systems. Key Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in C2 or security management (e.g., CPP, CISSP) are highly desirable. Experience: Typically 5+ years designing and implementing C2 systems for site protection or security operations; experience integrating security technologies with C2 platforms (surveillance, access control, incident management, communication). Technical Skills: Deep understanding of CCTV, access control, perimeter detection, alarm/IPS; proficiency in C2 systems, IoT-based security, emergency communication, and monitoring platforms; familiarity with network security, cloud-based solutions; experience with visualization tools (GIS, dashboards). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to work under pressure during incidents; leadership to guide cross-functional teams.
