Electrical and Automation Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Automation Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical and automation systems for a variety of projects.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of electrical and automation systems, as well as excellent design and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed designs for electrical and automation systems, including single-line diagrams, control topologies, and load analysis.
  • Conduct short-circuit, harmonics, discrimination, and protection device system studies and analyses.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry engineering design.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with Marine Power system/Automation system/Navigation system.
  • Familiarity with Rules and Regulation, IEC/IEE/NEC standards.
  • Familiarity with Auto-CAD/Microsoft Office/AVEVA.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
