Overview
IKEA Alexandra operates a Non Halal restaurant. IKEA Singapore creates a better everyday life by offering a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at low prices. Ikano Pte. Ltd. owns and operates three omnichannel stores in Singapore, including IKEA Alexandra, IKEA Tampines and IKEA Jurong.
Staff benefits include 15% off all IKEA products. The role is Full-time/Part-time as applicable and requires rotating shifts to support retail operation peak periods on PH and Fri, Sat and Sun.
Job Description
Responsibilities include working as part of a team in our F&B areas to provide top quality service and ensure customers have a positive dining experience. The department duties cover maintaining a clean and inviting area, supporting the department action plan, assisting colleagues, promoting top-selling products, managing stock and condiments, and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned. Follow internal rules and daily operational routines related to quality and food safety. Serve customers with a smile at the hot line and prepare hot and cold dishes as assigned.
Responsibilities
Ensure area of responsibility is well maintained throughout the day – clean, tidy, organized and inviting at all times.
Contribute to the department’s action plan by taking ownership for my part in its delivery.
Help and support colleagues when needed and share knowledge to encourage teamwork; cooperate with colleagues in other areas of the store.
Be aware of top selling products and ensure they are available or promote alternatives when unavailable.
Look for more effective ways of working to reduce costs and be cost-conscious.
Follow and comply with internal rules, policies and daily routines regarding quality and food safety as set by management.
Ensure the department is safe and customers are always the focus; serve customers behind the hot line with a smile.
Prepare hot and cold dishes as assigned.
Ensure products and condiments are stocked, in good condition and replenished on time.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Possess a friendly or outgoing personality in order to serve customers.
Service-oriented and comfortable with handling cash.
Team player and willing to help one another to achieve goals.
Flexible to work during peak periods, public holidays and weekends.
Physically fit and able to carry heavy items.
High level of personal grooming to meet food safety and hygiene standards.
Hygiene course provided for those without relevant certification.
Other Details
