About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven financial professional to join our investment team. This role is responsible for deal origination, due diligence, portfolio management, and exit strategies for high-value investments across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment & Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities across various industries in Asia. Lead negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, ensuring alignment with fund objectives.
  • Due Diligence & Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment for investment opportunities. Perform commercial, operational, and legal due diligence to assess the feasibility and risks of investments. Prepare comprehensive investment memorandums and present findings to the Investment Committee.
  • Investment Management: Monitor and manage investments, working closely with management teams to drive growth, improve operational efficiencies, and optimize value. Implement strategic initiatives, financial restructuring, and business transformations to enhance performance. Track financial performance, ensuring investments align with fund objectives and risk-return expectations. Provide regular fund performance updates and reports to investors and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Work Experience in Audit or Legal is a plus.
  • Technical & Industry Expertise: Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, deal structuring, and risk assessment. In-depth understanding of investment trends, market dynamics, and regulatory landscapes in Asia.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the region.
  • Understanding of fund governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or asset management.
  • Proficiency in Asian languages is an advantage, especially for engaging with a diverse investor base.
