VP - Regulatory Reporting Transformation Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a VP - Regulatory Reporting Transformation Lead. You will be responsible to drive the end-to-end transformation of regulatory reporting processes, with a core focus on the review and interpretation of applicable laws, rules, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of data controls and testing to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory reports (e.g. Hong Kong Disclosure of Interests). In this role, you will also be responsible to: Lead the assessment and application of evolving regulatory reporting requirements, translating them into actionable business and technology solutions Champion robust data lineage, traceability, and control environments, leveraging automation and advanced analytics to mitigate risk Lead comprehensive testing (UAT, production parallel, post release) to validate reporting capabilities and control effectiveness as well as regulatory compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Technology, Compliance, and Legal to deliver sustainable, audit-ready solutions Produce and escalte management information for senior management oversight You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, as well as job-specific technical skills. To be successful for the role, candidates should possess the following skills or experience: Deep knowledge of financial services laws, rules, and regulations Expertise in regulatory reporting, data controls, and testing methodologies Ability to interpret and operationalize complex regulatory change Strong cross-functional collaboration, especially with Technology and Compliance Advanced analytical and communication skills, with a focus on regulatory engagement and audit readiness Barclays is required by law to confirm that you have the Legal Right to Work in any role that you apply for.
