Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motorbike Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing general servicing, tyre changes, and maintenance on motorbikes, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorbikes, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. In addition to mechanical tasks, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment and keeping accurate records of all repairs and services for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on motorbikes, including engine checks, oil changes, brake servicing, and tuning.
- Tyre Changes: Replace and balance tyres as needed, ensuring proper installation.
- Workshop Cleanliness & Safety: Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe for all staff and clients.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, explaining repairs and service details clearly and professionally.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and client details.
- Parts Management: Track parts inventory and order supplies when needed.
- Quality Checks: Test motorbikes after service to ensure everything is working properly.
- Teamwork: Work with other mechanics to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years related experience in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Familiarity with workshop safety standards and the ability to keep a clean, safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
