Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Engineer to join our Tactical Wearables & Soldier Systems Team of the Advanced Materials Division. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our tender project management. The engineer analyses and manages technical specifications, project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts. The engineer will also work with development and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery to meet tender goals Job Description Prepare and compile tender submissions (proposal & technical documentation). Develop budget plan to monitor and control expenditures for the duration of the project. Support project planning, execution, and monitoring to meet technical, budgetary, and schedul requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations and execution teams to drive project success. Engage customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into innovative solutions. Provide engineering support for production and quality assurance to resolve technical challenges. Follow up with post tender activities for submitted tenders and reviewing of client contract agreement Job Requirements Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineeringor a related field of study Possess an understanding of Estimation and Costing for projects Proficient in MS Office Knowledge in SAP and Solidworks is advantageous Willing to travel for customer meetings, field testing and supplier engagement #J-18808-Ljbffr
