Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain, inspect, and repair marine firefighting systems and equipment on board vessels. If you have experience with fire safety systems and enjoy working in a dynamic marine environment, we would like to hera from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair marine firefighting systems and equipment including fire alarms, suppression systems, and fire extinguishers
Perform annual inspections and testing to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with firefighting equipment and system
Ensure compliance with International maritime regulations and standards (e.g. SOLAS, IMO )
Collaborate with vessel crews and ship staff to ensure effective maintenance and operation of firefightingsystems
Maintian accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in maintaining firefighting systems and equipment, perferably in marine industry
Knowledge of international maritime regulations and standards
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced marine environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Certification:
- Certification in marine firefighting system maintenance or a realated field is an advantage
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00AM - 6:00PM
- Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
Salary:
- Basic salary ranging from $2,800 onwards, with opportunities for growth and development
