The SAP FICO consultant is responsible to deliver projects and change requests on SAP systems and integrations between SAP and other sub-systems. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and implementing IT projects of specific modules with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements.
Responsibilities
Knowledge on SAP FICO modules within the S/4 HANA environment (GL, AP, AR, AA, Controlling).
Involved mainly in new enhancements and support.
Monitor and identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues and opportunities related to technical aspects of implementation.
Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
Ensure system compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Review service targets and ensure that service targets are met, as well as maintain high service levels to customers.
The ideal candidate should possess
Able to work independently in AP, GL, CO modules.
Strong knowledge in Asset Management and a good understanding of Project management module.
Knowledge of Funds management and BPC is desirable.
Must be able to communicate with customers, understand requirements, write functional specs, perform unit tests and documentation.
Must be able to configure systems as well as provide solution consulting and recommendations for systems enhancements.
Strong communication skills and ability to guide team members effectively.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting and implementation.
Hands-on experience with multiple full-cycle SAP FICO rollouts, including configuration and deployment.
Understanding of SAP Finance processes, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
Expertise in S/4 HANA (Private/Public Cloud) and familiarity with its latest features and functionalities.
Knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
Ability to analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
Strong ability to work within cross-functional teams and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
SAP FICO & SAP S/4 HANA Certification is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
