Based at our modern ST Electronics Hub Building, you will be part of a dynamic group dedicated to enhancing urban mobility solutions that are not only efficient but also sustainable and impactful.

This position falls under the Mobility (Rail) - MRL division, which is at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies into rail systems. As an HMI Engineer, your contributions will directly support the development and implementation of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) that are user-centric, intuitive, and reliable.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test HMI solutions tailored for mobility rail systems.
  • Engage in the analysis of user requirements, ensuring that HMI designs enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support the integration of various technologies to create cohesive and effective mobility solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations, to communicate findings and solutions effectively.
  • Participate in system testing and validation procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to continual improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions based on user feedback and technological advancements.

Key skills and qualities include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Proficient understanding of design and engineering principles related to HMI systems.
  • Have knowledge of using AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and PLC.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Possess good English/Chinese oral and written communication skills.
  • Have knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools used in transportation systems is advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
