Job Title: Special Needs Educator

Are you passionate about empowering students with special needs? Do you have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care? We invite applications for the role of Special Needs Educator, where you will play a vital part in supporting our students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective lessons using a range of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop curriculum and programs that promote student learning and growth
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to provide holistic support and feedback
  • Plan and write individualized education plans (IEPs), reports, and documentation
  • Guide and mentor teacher aides to enhance their skills and confidence

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Education or related field
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent experience in Special Education
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with English and Mathematics as mandatory subjects
  • Desirable: 3 years of experience at secondary level; familiarity with national curriculum
  • Strong passion for teaching and working with children and youths with autism
