As a key member of our team, the Academic Administrator plays a critical role in enhancing the student experience and supporting our institution's academic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Dissertation Support:
- We track and update progress reports for doctoral dissertation supervision to ensure timely completion.
- Our process involves monthly claims and payments for Dissertation Supervisors, ensuring accurate and efficient management.
- External Degree Partner Coordination:
- We update student results from External Degree Partners and maintain accurate records.
- In case of discrepancies, we arrange re-assessments as required.
- We represent our institution at assessment board meetings with External Degree Partners, fostering strong partnerships.
- Student and Assignment Monitoring:
- Our team monitors assignment submissions to prevent delays.
- We track and oversee student academic progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensuring that assignment grading schedules are adhered to is crucial to maintaining academic standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- We maintain and update EduTrust documentation for the Academic Department, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.
- We prepare essential reports for the Academic Department and university programmes, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
- Academic Liaison:
- We serve as the main point of contact for academic matters with university partners, facilitating communication and cooperation.
- We collaborate with other departments to coordinate academic communications, ensuring a unified approach.
- Programme and Logistics Support:
- We provide administrative support for all programmes, ensuring seamless execution.
- We coordinate logistics for class delivery, guaranteeing requirements are met efficiently.
- Student Engagement Support:
- We assist the Personal Academic Tutor in organizing meetings with students, promoting effective communication.
- We gather and report feedback on academic matters to drive continuous improvement and address student concerns, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- We report directly to the Academic Directors, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- We undertake additional duties as assigned by the Academic Directors, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in managing academic processes and documentation is necessary for maintaining accuracy and compliance.
