Key Responsibility Areas Provide individual, marital and family counselling, and/or group therapy sessions to clients Conduct proper intake and assessment of client issues, develop treatment plans and implement such plans towards the fulfilment of therapeutic goals Collect and maintain proper and confidential client records and programme documentation, including counselling case notes, treatment plans, and feedback forms Respond to helpline calls from help-seekers and follow up on such calls Prepare and deliver talks, training and workshops on addiction and mental health-related issues Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities Work collaboratively with other departments to support programmes, communications, administrative functions and corporate events Candidate Requirements Master's degree in counselling Good interpersonal skills and communication skills Familiar with Google and Microsoft Workspace applications Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident Strong organisational and administrative skills for maintaining accurate client and programme records A heart for people – Empathetic, adaptable, and resilient in addressing diverse client needs, in relation to their struggle with addiction Team player Preferred achievements / characteristics: At least 2 years of experience in counselling Registered counsellor with a recognised professional body (e.g., SAC, SPS)Knowledge of the social service landscape Experience in frontline service providing services to members of the public Experience in addiction counselling #J-18808-Ljbffr
