Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to join our shipbuilding division.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering support, collaboration with marketing teams, and provision of technical documentation for newbuilding and ship repair projects.

A strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, project workflows, and classification rules is essential. The successful candidate will also possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and travel internationally.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, developing design concepts, preparing drawing schedules, and coordinating technical meetings with clients, designers, vendors, and system integrators. You will also interpret classification rules and maritime regulations, and read and understand design drawings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the marine or offshore industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes and project workflows, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and engage in discussions with clients.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to Indonesia, Taiwan, and other countries for technical meetings.
