Job Overview

This is a high-priority role for a skilled Electrical Technician . The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical circuits, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and Assembly: Install and connect wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and other electrical devices. Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, inspect electrical systems, and troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in equipment and appliances.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify the root cause of electrical problems and analyze them to propose safe and efficient solutions.
  • Testing and Calibration: Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper functioning and calibrate instruments as needed.
  • Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring instructions.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and electrical codes while working with electrical systems.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Work with electrical engineers, other technicians, and facility managers, and maintain accurate records of performed maintenance and repair work.
  • Component Fabrication: Construct and fabricate electrical parts using hand tools and specifications.

Work Environment

  • Variety of Locations: Technicians can work in various environments, including homes, commercial buildings, industrial plants, factories, and outdoor job sites.
  • Physical Demands: Tasks may require working in dark, confined spaces, under ladders, or in various weather conditions.
