Portfolio Manager – Global Technology OR Global Industrials (L/S Equity - Market Neutral)Location: Hong Kong or Singapore About the Role Our client, a leading Asia-based multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking to expand its fundamental equities platform with two senior hires in the long/short equity space: Global Technology PM or Sub-PM (with Asia focus)Global Industrials PM or Sub-PM (with Asia focus)These roles sit within a market-neutral L/S equity framework, offering a performance-driven environment, institutional infrastructure, and cross-regional investment collaboration. Both opportunities are designed for candidates ready to run capital with autonomy and clear alpha-generation expectations. Coverage Focus – Global Technology US, Taiwan, and China Tech Ideal Profile – Global Technology PM / Sub-PM Proven Portfolio Manager with 5M+ USD PnL and 1–2 year live track record, or Senior Analyst / Sub-PM from a top-tier platform fund or Single CIO fund Minimum 5 years of tech sector investing experience Can be US-only, EU-only, or China/Asia-focused Strong idea velocity, risk discipline, and independent research capabilities Coverage Focus – Global Industrials HK/China Industrials (mandatory), with exposure to Japan FA/Auto a plus Preferred Subsectors – Global Industrials Auto, Robotics, Machinery, Capital Equipment Ideal Profile – Global Industrials PM / Sub-PM Existing PM with track record, or Senior Analyst/Sub-PM with 5+ years of coverage in global industrials Strong experience in HK/China industrials is required Familiarity with Japanese FA/Auto sectors is a plus Mandarin fluency is mandatory, English is a plus PM can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore Analyst/Sub-PM roles must be Hong Kong-based What We’re Looking For Deep domain expertise and high-conviction research process Experience operating in a market-neutral, fundamental L/S equity environment Strong portfolio construction, risk management discipline, and collaborative mindset Ability to articulate and defend investment theses independently Why Join?Institutional capital and scalable platform: Significant capital backing with a clear pathway to grow your book based on performance.
