Responsibilities
Able to develop and maintain high-frequency trading systems with an emphasis on performance and scalability
Monitor and support live trading systems to address any operational issues promptly
Optimise system latency and throughput to ensure peak efficiency in trading operations
Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to implement new trading strategies
Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems within the technology department
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in financial services technology
Qualifications
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in high-frequency trading, such as Rust or C++
Experience working with low-latency systems and real-time applications
An analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently
Familiarity with financial services and trading concepts is advantageous
