Job Overview
A repair technician is needed to work in the North Coast area, handling a variety of tasks related to electronics and electrical systems. This includes diagnostics, component-level repairs, and calibration using standard tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
The successful candidate will have experience with PCB/electronics repair and possess skills in diagnostics, soldering/rework, and tool usage. Additionally, they should be familiar with ESD, PPE, and electrical safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics: Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on complex electronic systems.
  • Repairs: Conduct component-level repairs and calibration using standard tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repair outcomes, reports, and update schematics/checklists.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and company standards.
  • Maintenance: Regularly maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma/Nitec in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years PCB/electronics repair experience, entry-level candidates considered.
  • Skills: Diagnostics, soldering/rework, multimeter, oscilloscope, ABI Board Master, ESD, PPE, electrical safety standards.
  • Certifications: None required.
