Business Risk Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves conducting thorough assessments of internal controls to identify areas for improvement in business processes, ensuring effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of internal controls and propose recommendations to enhance organisational workflow and processes.
  • Participate in process improvement projects with the objective to optimise operating efficiency and control effectiveness.
  • Support risk management initiatives by facilitating discussions to identify relevant risks and mitigation actions.
  • Perform data analysis using applicable tools and techniques to identify anomalies for further investigation.
  • Contribute to regulatory and compliance reviews to improve governance practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent; degrees in other disciplines such as Computer Science, Business and Law will also be considered.
  • Willingness to work towards a CA, CIA, CRMA, CISA is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of internal/external audit or related experience for Senior Consultant position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Competent and experienced in using Power BI, Dax, Python are added advantages.
  • Versatile, motivated, team player and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
