Fund Portfolio Strategist

About the Role:

This exciting new position involves providing expert fund selection, daily management and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing both traditional and alternative funds as well as providing ongoing support.

Key responsibilities include providing Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios. You will also provide investment advisory support and champion fund products to both local and regional sales teams.

In addition, you will work closely with internal business units and external asset managers to deliver advisory communications and training. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection/due diligence for Mutual Funds.
  • An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills, with experience in conducting product training and marketing seminars.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Pro-active, self-starter and goal orientated, with strong teamwork skills such as listening, communication and conflict management.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, with written communication in Traditional Chinese required.
