Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Funds Manager to join our Funds Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of investment funds, managing fund strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering competitive performance and growth. The role involves close collaboration with research, risk, compliance, and distribution teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of investment funds, ensuring optimal asset allocation in line with fund mandates.
  • Develop and implement fund investment strategies aligned with market conditions and client objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of markets, sectors, and securities to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor fund performance and risk metrics, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with research analysts, portfolio managers, and external advisors to assess investment opportunities.
  • Prepare and present fund performance reports and market outlooks to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Support product development and fund structuring initiatives.
  • Engage with institutional and retail clients as needed to explain fund strategies and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with global economic trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's or CFA preferred).
  • (5+) years of experience in investment management, preferably in fund management or portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of various asset classes, fund structures, and investment strategies.
  • Proven track record of managing funds and delivering strong risk-adjusted returns.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in funds management (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, SEC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in investment tools and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Attributes

  • CFA/CAIA designation or progress toward it.
  • Experience with ESG and sustainable investment strategies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is an advantage.
