Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Operations Specialist to oversee daily laundry operations.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage the collection, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of laundry items across various departments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure timely ordering of supplies as needed, and implement efficient laundry processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Verify all laundry equipment is in good working order, and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene in laundry facilities.
  • Mentor and supervise laundry staff, provide training programs, and conduct regular performance reviews to optimize productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Liaise with other departments to meet laundry needs, communicate effectively, and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate and improve laundry processes continuously to increase customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in laundry management, supervisory roles, or equivalent industry background.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
