Description Overview Operations & Maintenance Engineer (WTE Plant - Tuas) role at Keppel (Infrastructure Division).Responsibilities Support the Operations Manager in the control of operations, consumables, manpower and its budgetSatisfy Primary Customers (National Environment Agency, KIT) and build up good relationships between all stakeholdersEnsure efficient running of the plant and satisfy NEA ISA and KIT contractual requirements; ensure statutory/regulatory compliance and contractor managementAssist Operations Manager to manage and be responsible for the safe, efficient and smooth operation of the plant's critical and auxiliary equipment, including boilers and steam turbine generatorsAssist in the activities of Central Control Room (CCR), Weighbridge, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, Overhaul, reception hall, bunker management and other general plant mattersEnsure that incidents (if any) are well-handled and properly documented with minimum disruption to operationsEnforce plant safety procedures and achieve a good safety record; ensure no repeated findings for iSAFECoordinate with Maintenance Section on plant operation and maintenance mattersSupport the Maintenance Manager in the control of manpower, resources, budget and projectsAssist in maintenance activities (Mechanical and Electrical), including Overhaul, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Predictive MaintenanceBe responsible for resolution of Job Cards (J/C) & Permit-to-Work (PTW) and related safety aspectsTroubleshooting of equipment problems and identification of solutions & recommendationsProvide support to BCP, IQC, R&D, ISO, external and internal audits and any other activitiesReview stock and inventory managementContribute to Mega plant initiatives or overseas/new plant designContribute to improvement and optimization projectsAny other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor / plant managementJob Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentAt least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a process plant environmentKeen interest in operations and maintenance of a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plant and comfortable working in a WTE plant environmentProven leadership abilityStrong safety mindsetCan-do attitudeMeticulous with good interpersonal and communication skillsTeam-oriented with high initiativeWilling to perform 12-hour shift work when requiredOpen to working in Tuas or SenokoMust be conversant in English, Mandarin and Cantonese to interact effectively with relevant stakeholdersWilling to work overseas for a few years when activatedThis is a 2-year contract positionBusiness Segment InfrastructurePlatform Operating DivisionSeniority level Entry levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Engineering and Information TechnologyWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
