Implementing quality control procedures and documenting findings. Identifying and addressing quality issues. Communication and coordination: Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Attending project meetings and providing updates on progress. Communicating with subcontractors regarding their work and any necessary changes. Safety compliance: Enforcing safety regulations on site and ensuring workers adhere to safety procedures. Identifying and mitigating potential safety hazards. Documentation and reporting: Maintaining site records and documentation including daily reports, progress reports, and incident reports. Preparing necessary technical reports and calculations. Required skills for a site engineer: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures Experience with surveying equipment and software Computer literacy for project management tools and documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr
